RADF, built in the late 1970s, is a linear style facility with twelve two-tier housing areas referred to as modules, each module is made up by cells in which up to two inmates can be housed per cell. The Regional Adult Detention Facility is a one story 88, 661 square foot facility. The Regional Adult Detention Facility (RADF) air handling units are original to the building and need to be replaced due to age, wear and tear. The improvements will include the removal and disposal of 32 air handlers in pipe galleys. In which it will be necessary to remove units, valves and all piping before the clean-up and preparation for the installation of 32 new air handlers, new frames for unit support and unit hanging with new seismic bracing. It will also require the installation of new duct connectors to tie into existing ducts
