NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency, hereinafter referred to as the OWNER, shall receive sealed bids for the following waterworks improvements: Standpipe #2: Modifications to the 3,500,000 gallon steel standpipe and spot cleaning and spot coating of coating areas damaged during modifications, areas of corrosion on interior floor, and areas of coating failure on the exterior roof. Work items include: repair of grout; furnishing and installation of valve vault ladders, removable silt stop for inlet pipe, new grounding cable, screen for overflow flap gate, new ladders, self-closing gates at both roof safety railing access openings, and three clog-resistant roof vents; modification of roof safety railing toe bars; including other miscellaneous repairs and incidental items such as coordination with the OWNER, first anniversary evaluation, disposal of debris, site restoration, etc. The work is anticipated to start after October 1, 2023 and be completed by November 30, 2023.
