Demolition and site work for an educational facility in West Hartford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

This project will involve the removal portable classrooms located at the King Philip Middle School, 100 King Philip Drive, West Hartford, 06117. Sealed bids marked Removal of Portable Classrooms at King Philip Middle School. which time questions concerning the project will be answered. Scope- 1. Installation of an 8 foot high demolition fence with privacy screening encircling the work area. 2. Remove and dispose ofthe portable classroom structure. 3. Remove and dispose of all footings and foundation piers. See A-102 Bubbled Area 4. Remove and dispose ofthe hallway to the main building. Clean and finish to match existing building. See A-102 See Bubbled Area 5. Remove and dispose ofsanitary pipe, sewer ejector and vault. Cap sanitary line in tunnel. Patch foundation wall. See P-1 See Bubbled Area 6. Remove and dispose ofwater supply and cap in tunnel. Patch foundation wall. See P-1 See Bubbled Area 7. Remove and dispose electrical feed wires back to nearest junction box. Town will disconnect electrical power to that j-box. Remove all underground conduit and wires. Patch foundation wall. See ME-1 See Bubbled Area 8. Remove fire alarm panel and disconnect (delete programming) it from mater fire alarm panel. 9. Replace section ofmissing concrete sidewalk under portables to make a continuous sidewalk. Remove all bituminous sidewalks. Remove bituminous extension from parking lot. 10. At existing door to portables from main building install ADA ramp to door and connect to existing pavement. Provide rail ifneeded. 11. Grade land to match existing conditions and seed. 12. Town will salvage any items that it deems re-usable including light bulbs, ceiling tiles, fire alarm equipment, electrical panels, door hardware and IIVAC equipment. 13. All materials are to be disposed offsite 14. All Federal, State and Local Codes must be maintained. 15. Building Permit Fees by the town are waived. All questions must be submitted in writing and e-mailed to the Purchasing Office to Tammyb@westhartfordCT.gov or faxed to 860-561-7492 Substantial completion by August 11,2023, and will provide the Project, ready for Final Completion, by August 18,2023.
