General Description and Requirements o Work to be performed on all metal roof panels (2 elevations). o Obtain necessary permits. o Set up all needed safety lines and anchoring on location to meet OHSA requirements. o Power wash entire roof surface, to include gutter system on all elevations. Remove/ scrape all existing sealants from these surfaces and ensure panels are thoroughly cleaned. o Inspect Hi end closures and reinstall or replace missing material as needed. o Inspect all metal panels for loose/ missing fasteners and secure and replace as needed. New fasteners to be added where needed. o Seal all fastener heads, penetration flashings, counter flashings and seams using ER Systems HER polyurethane metal roof sealant (or equivalent). o Cover all areas not being painted to prevent overspray. o First coat - will be a primer coat of ER Systems acrylic metal rust primer (or equivalent) on the entire roof system. o Second coat - will be ER Systems acrylic 1000 plus white elastomeric coating (or equivalent) on the entire roof system. o Third coat - will be ER Systems acrylic 1000 plus white elastomeric coating (or equivalent) on the entire roof system. o Provide complete clean up and disposal of all debris. o A water spigot will be available at Toledo fire station 24 for use during the project. o Provide a manufacturer's 10-year warranty on all materials used. o Payment will be made upon completion of the project and receiving warranty.
