Site work and paving for a road / highway in Omro, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of July 10, 2023, the project has been awarded to Kartechner Brothers LLC, awarded amount is $162, 094.95 The work for which bids are asked includes the following: rehabilitate approximately 7,600 SY of asphalt roadway. Work will include pulverizing or milling existing asphalt, grading and asphalt paving. Traffic control and erosion control shall be included in the scope of work. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Pursuant to Section 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes, the minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by Local wage rates.
