Lane County Waste Management Division is seeking Quotes from qualified contractors to provide deconstruction services and sustainable materials recovery for a County-owned property located at 78752 Sears Rd. in Cottage Grove, Oregon. The house is a 1926 craftsman and has been abated of all asbestos and is ready for deconstruction and demolition. Construction and demolition (C&D) materials consist of debris generated during the construction, renovation and demolition of buildings. This project aims to achieve the highest deconstruction for reuse by carefully dismantling and salvaging components of the property that have value and separating remaining material for recovery at a permitted material recovery facility. The project aims to recover for recycling and divert for reuse 65% of the materials from this house.
