The District specifically reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to make any awards or any rejections in what it alone considers to be in the best interest of the District, and to waive any irregularities in the bids. The District does not obligate itself to accept the lowest bid and specifically reserves the right to reject any or all bids or the District will accept any bid or combination of bids considered most favorable. The District has initiated an insurance compliance program. This program requires all companies providing products and services to the District to have in place insurance coverage prior to the issuance of any contract. Once the most responsive response has been established, that vendor will have 15 days after selection, to provide all required insurance documents per the samples provided and register with the District's insurance compliance tracking system, MyCOI. Failure to provide this insurance documentation will result in the District considering this bid or response to be non-responsive. This Invitation to Bid (ITB) is being issued by the Contra Costa Water District (District) for vendors and/or firms interested in submitting bid documents for Lights, Light Bars, Wiring and installation Services. The vendor is to provide Whelen manufactured Ion T Amber grill lights, Ion Series LED - Lighthead front window lights, Traffic Advisor 8 - Lamp, Tier 3, Super LED, Vertex super - LED light Red, Rear corner Vertex, Rear window mounts with custom brackets, T/A control and wiring including switches, controls and major components utilizing factory wiring methods. The required manufacturer for the lights and light bar items and accessories is Whelen; no alternates or substitutions will be accepted. This service is for a two (2) year base period with one (1) year priced option beginning Fiscal Year 24 (FY24) on July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2025 with one (1) year priced option for FY26 (Option 1) begins July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026; to be exercised at the District's sole discretion. Bid priced option sheet must be included for all years for the bid package to be considered a complete submission. The District will evaluate all pricing and will determine what appears to provide the best value to the District.
