Project may rebid at a future date to be determined.* The Contractor shall furnish and install approximately 986 linear feet of 8-inch diameter ASTM D3034 SDR 35 PVC gravity sewer main and six sewer manholes. The sewer shall be installed within the existing City of Vancouver right-of-way, including all laterals, manholes, and all appurtenances as shown on the plans and specified herein. The Contractor shall restore the existing pavement where trenching takes place as specified herein. The Work shall be Physically Completed by August 31, 2023. Its estimated that the Contractor will have about twenty-five (25) Working Days to complete the work after receiving Notice to Proceed. Twenty (20) days of nighttime work may be deemed necessary to minimize construction impacts. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
