The City of Crisfield (hereinafter referred to as the City ) is requesting proposals from qualified professional environmental firms to provide a Mold Assessment of the City s Historic Armory. The City is soliciting proposals from qualified professional environmental firms to provide: an assessment of the existing Armory in regards to identification of mold with recommendations for proper removal/abatement with estimated costs. The City s Armory building was originally constructed in 1927 and is approximately 18,800 square feet including basement with meeting rooms and bathrooms, gymnasium and two (2) floors of offices with amenities. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and thus all modifications to the building must be coordinated and approved by the Maryland Historical Trust. In 2019, an assessment was completed on the Armory of which can be provided upon request for informational purposes only.
