As of July 13, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. Anticipated award date is early next week. Rehabilitation of Taxiway C and Taxiway P - this project will include rehabilitation of approximately 140,000 sf of existing asphalt with significant surface degradation. pavement cores were taken to determine the subsurface condition after 20+ years of service. the project will also include associated taxiway safety area grading to meet faa advisory circular standards. the project will include renaming a portion of taxiway c to taxiway p, placing approximately 3,000 tons of p-401 hma asphalt surface, grading of grass islands between future taxiway p and the 100 ramp air cargo area, and performing improvements to related stormwater drainage systems, related signage, lighting, and pavement markings. construction will allow critical group v aircraft to utilize the pavement on taxiway p. this project will also include the installation of a new electrical circuit on the portion of taxiway 'c' to be renamed taxiway 'p' which includes a new homerun cable and electrical vault work. the project has been designed in accordance with the current standards outlined in the faa advisory circular 150/5300-13b and approved airport layout plan (alp). construction haul routes and staging area will take place on existing roads, airport pavements and property.
