Site work for a water / sewer project in Towson, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to furnish and install various diameter ductile iron water mains along Liberty Road (MD Route 26) from Rolling Road to Washington Avenue, including valves, valve vaults, fire hydrants, fittings, service connection renewals, pressure testing, disinfection, connection to existing water mains, and appurtenances at the locations shown on the Contract Drawings. Milford Mill-District 4c2 The work to be completed under this Contract includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to furnish and install various diameter ductile iron water mains along Liberty Road (MD Route 26) from Rolling Road to Washington Avenue, including valves, valve vaults, fire hydrants, fittings, service connection renewals, pressure testing, disinfection, connection to existing water mains, and appurtenances at the locations shown on the Contract Drawings. As part of the work, all existing service connections that are currently served from the existing water main in Liberty Road (and side streets) shall be replaced from the new replacement water main to the existing meter boxes. The Engineer on the job site will determine whether to use the existing meter vault or replace it, depending on its condition. After the installation of the water main connections and services, the existing water main in Liberty Road will be abandoned in place. Liberty Road (Maryland Route 26) 12-Inch Water Main Replacement.
