The bid bond shall be executed by a surety company acceptable to the Town, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the proposal. Bid deposits shall be in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the proposal. All bid deposits shall be in the form of certified check, official bank check or money order, made payable to the Ramapo Town Clerk. If the proposal is accepted, the bidder will enter into a Contract for the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the Contract. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any or all proposals should the best interest of the Town thereby be promoted.
