The work to be performed consists of weighing and hauling the sludge generated at the Santa Clara Valley Water District's (Valley Water) Rinconada, Penitencia, and Santa Teresa Water Treatment Plants (Plant) and, disposing at permitted disposal facilities provided by the Contractor and approved by Valley Water. Sludge will be hauled from the following Valley Water facilities: Rinconada Water Treatment Plant Penitencia Water Treatment Plant Santa Teresa Water Treatment Plant When required, haul sludge from Rinconada Water Treatment Plant's Solids Handling Facility and dispose of sludge at a disposal facility provided by Valley Water and/or used by the contractor performing the cleaning activity of the sludge drying beds/basins. Santa Teresa Water Treatment Plant sludge dewatering beds are located on McKean Road, approximately 1-mile east southeast of the intersection of McKean Road and Harry Road in San Jose, California.
