Renovation of a library in Quincy, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
**As of August 21 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The project includes the replacement of two existing hot water boilers with two new condensing hot water boilers; including new combustion air intakes, exhaust flues, and all boiler accessories. The existing heating hot water piping will be modified, including the installation of two new pumps and accessories. Additionally, one exhaust fan, one air separator, and two expansion tank will be replaced; and one new glycol feed tank will be provided. *General Bid Deadline 6/15/23 Time 11:00 A.M. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Replace two existing boilers with modern condensing boilers. 2. Provide new boiler primary pumps with VFDs. 3. Reconfigure hot water system to new variable primary loop and variable secondary loop. The secondary loop is not in the scope of work in this project. 4. Patch all the openings on the outdoor air intake plenum in the boiler room. 5. Remove existing flue duct and draft inducer. 6. Remove two abandoned 3PCV pipes. 7. Provide new dedicated combustion air pipes for new boilers. 8. Provide new dedicated vent pipes for new boilers. 9. Replace existing exhaust fan in the garage and interlock with the existing propeller fan serving electrical room.
