The Palatine Park District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and also reserves the right to accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder. Description of Work Area of work includes Community Center Room IE approximately 2,160 square feet. The contractor is responsible for field verification of all measurements on site and determination of quantities necessary to complete the work as specified. All workmanship will be of the highest professional standards and meet the product manufacturers specifications. New floor project must be completed between one of the following date windows: August 28-September 3, 2023 or November 20-26, 2023 or December 18-24, 2023 or an date window agreed upon between winning vender and Park District. Technical Specifications Community Room IE Floor Replacement o Remove and dispose of offsite exiting plastic tile floor, base, and exiting VCT flooring. o Scarify and prepare floor to accept the new flooring product per manufactures specifications. This may require the entire floor to be diamond grind to ensure an even surface before laying down the new floor. Any diamond grinding must be done using a dust collection system. o Furnish all materials and labor to prepare the existing floor surface, including patching and leveling and provide and install new specified flooring product and wall base or approved equivalent based on manufactures Installation instructions. o Products installed per manufacturers specifications. The finished floor and base surface must be even and uniform absent of pitting, high spots, cracks, etc. o Warranty workmanship for 5 years
