Provide Land Acquisition services for the PI 0016067 Norcross Greenway LCI project. The project has 66 parcels, and land acquisition is needed to complete the project. These parcels have a direct effect on the progress of the project and will need to be acquired before Bidding. The City of Norcross is responsible for acquiring Right of Way from property owners and the selected firm will work on behalf of the City This project includes an approximate 3.3 mile shared-use path offering a commute and recreational transport alternative that will serve and connect multiple neighborhoods, workplaces/offices, schools, religious institutions, and parks between Buford Highway/Historic Downtown Norcross on the western side, and the Beaver Ruin Road Shared-Use Trail. When fully installed, this project will connect to the Beaver Ruin Road Shared-Use Trail in two locations, providing a continuous 4.8-mile loop. The typical section consists of an 8 to 10 foot wide concrete shared-use path, to be constructed on one side of existing Cemetery Street, Mitchell Road, Pinnacle Way, and Price Place. Several retaining walls as well as pedestrian bridges and boardwalks are included. No off-site detour is needed, and the Right of Way acquisition service is 12 to 18 months.
