**As of November 7, 2023 the Project was awarded to MAC GC-Electric, INC. but amount was not disclosed.** Work consists of installing transfer switches, electrical conduits, wiring and connect to the main switch gear and generator No bid will be considered unless it is made on a proposal form furnished by the City. All proposals or bids shall be accompanied by cash, a check payable to the City of Loma Linda and certified by a responsible bank for an amount which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) ofthe bid or by a bond for the amount over and above all statutory exemptions, or by a bond of an accredited surety company. The check or bond will be declared forfeited ifthe successful bidder refuses to enter into a contract within ten (10) calendar days following receipt ofthe contract from the City. In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the California Labor Code, the Department of Industrial Relations has ascertained the general prevailing rates of per diem wages in the locality in which the work is to be performed. This information is on file at the Office of the City Clerk, City of Loma Linda, California, and will be made available to any interested party upon request. Payments to the successful bidder's employees shall conform to the applicable prevailing rates. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a labor and materials bond and a faithful performance bond in the amount equal to 100% each of the contract prices, such bonds to be secured by a surety company or surety companies satisfactory to the City Council ofthe City ofLoma Linda. For any monies earned by the Contractor and withheld by the City of Loma Linda to ensure the performance of the contract, the Contractor may, at his request and expense, substitute securities equivalent to the amount withheld in the form and manner and subject to the conditions provided in Chapter 13 (commencing with Section 4590) Division 5, Title I ofthe Government Code ofthe State ofCalifornia.
