As of June 04, 2024, this Phase of the project has been completed. GMP 1, GMP 2 & GMP3 of the overall project started construction back in July 2023. Flintco, as the Construction Manager, is requesting Subcontractor's Lump Sum Bid Proposals for work related to the UT Microelectronic & Engineering Research Center: Cleanroom Expansion, Phase B-2. This project involves renovation of existing lab and cleanroom space inside the MER Building. The build back includes cleanroom walls, ceiling, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security and life safety upgrades. The contents of this document shall be included in all Specifications for new and/or renovation projects at UT-Austin and PRC. Graphic representations, notes, details, critical root zones and tree protection zones shall be included in the drawing sets of Tree Protection plans, and consistent where tree preservation and protections are shown: (Demolition, Civil, Planting Plans, etc.). This project includes renovation of existing space in the MER building, build back of cleanroom walls, ceilings and associated MEP, fire alarm, and security scopes of work. This scope specifically includes demolition and make safe of all MEP systems.
