Site work and paving for a road / highway in Chipman, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Scope of Work: - Saw cut asphalt at all driveways that are currently paved and match existing driveway asphalt grade to new asphalt. - Where the overlay paving is placed on Upton Street, the shoulders shall be brought up level to the edges of the road. - Painting of lines on the sections of Upton and Union Streets are to be included in the tender price. - For driveways not paved slope and compact 31.5mm granular material from top of new asphalt grade to the existing driveway grade. - An adjustment for Asphalt Binder Price will be applied as per 821 of NB DTI Standard Specifications 2015. - The Village will be responsible for raising all manhole covers and storm drains as required. - FLAGGERS MUST BE PROVIDED BY CONTRACTOR. - Milled material is to be delivered to the gravel pit near 11 Bridge Street, Minto or near the ball field on Yeamans Road, Minto. The Municipality will direct the contractor to the desired site. The contractor must notify the Municipality 48 hours prior to milling to ensure the yard is open. - The Village requires new asphalt, completed to road crown. Any questions concerning this tender are to be submitted in writing to the Municipal Office by June 5, 2023.
