Arched pipe shall be constructed in accordance with LADOTD Standard Plans and dimensions for Arched Pipe. Geotextile fabric to wrap pipe joints shall meet or exceed the specifications and requirements of the Louisiana Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges 2016 Edition Section 701 Culverts and Storm Drains. Geotextile fabric shall be SI Geosolutions Geotex 351 Nonwoven Geotextile or equal. Corrugated Metal Pipe offered on bid must be a polymer coated corrugated steel pipe. Pipe should be coated with a Dow Chemical Company DAF625 – or equivalent – and must be no less than 10-mil-thick protective film, uniformly applied on both sides over factory-applied 2-ounce zinc galvanizing. Pipe is to be constructed – and intended – for use in storm drainage, culvert construction and similar applications. Unless otherwise stated, pipe wall thickness must be no less than 10-gauge
