Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Seffner, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Tampa Bay Water is seeking the solicitation for construction services for its High Service Pump Station facility. The High Service Pump Chemical System treats water from the Surface Water Treatment Plant, Brandon Urban Transmission Main, and Desalination Transmission Main. The three sources of water arrive at the pump station and chemical is injected at different locations before and after the pumps. This project will replace the chemical piping (sodium hypochlorite and ammonia hydroxide), the chemical pumps, and the addition of a new injection location. The current engineers estimate was prepared in July of 2022. In 2022 the entire project value was $1,105,300. The 2022 construction value of the project was valued at $780,300. This value includes an Owner's Allowance of $125,000. Estimation of cost should be projected to current day. TAMPA BAY WATER may issue ADDENDA as necessary in response to questions arising at the pre-bid conference and site visit. Such written requests and inquiries shall be delivered to the attention of Regina Kavanagh, Purchasing Specialist II at rkavanagh@tampabaywater.org and purchasing@tampabaywater.org no later than the close of business on April 16, 2023.
