Project Comprehensive Garbage, Recyclables, and Compostables Collection and Disposal/Marketing Services .Scope of Work Burien is requesting proposals from qualified firms for solid waste collection services. These services include: residential and commercial garbage, recycling and compostables collection, and the processing and marketing of collected recycling and compostables. The initial contract term will be for ten years, from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2035, with a City option for one additional two-year extension. Burien, following Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all proposers that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded a full and fair opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
