Renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility.
In general, the work consists of: Envelope repairs to an existing storage barn building. Work includes roof, door and window replacement, siding and mezzanine repair, and new stairs. Work also includes new lighting work and repair of lightning protection system. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. It is highly recommended that bidders attend. Attendees must fill out and submit DOC-2430 Facility Security Clearance Background Check Form prior attending the tour. Email the completed form to Brian Marx, Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds, no later than 8:00 AM, June 19, 2023.
