Pursuant to the Contract Documents, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. The project consists of a new 1-story, pre-manufactured modular building intended for training instruction. The building will be Type V-B construction, nonsprinklered, and of B occupancy type. There will be plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work to accommodate the intended use. The new modular building will be an addition to the VCIS campus site and the exterior work will be limited utility connection five (5) from perimeter of the building. 2. Design of modular building, within the parameters set out in this bid. 3. Approval through the HCD. 4. Construction of modular buildings. 5. Installation of ALL underground utilities to within 5' of building (including, plumbing, gas, water, sewer, fire lines, storm drain, electrical and LV conduit, etc.). 6. Type of Contract: Project will be constructed under a single contract. 1.5 WORK BY OWNER A. General: Cooperate fully with Owner so work may be carried out smoothly, without interfering with or delaying work under this Contract or work by Owner. Coordinate the Work of this Contract with work performed by Owner.
