Mesa Public Schools is located in Mesa, Arizona. It has 84 schools serving about 63,000 students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Of that 63,000 students, there are roughly 10,800 receiving special education services. These include 6 high schools, 11 junior high schools, 55 elementary schools, 4 success schools, and 8 choice schools. It is the intent of the Mesa Unified School District #4 to seek the services of a contractor to inspect, test, report, maintain and repair the fire prevention systems throughout the District. Fire prevention systems include fire sprinkler-flow systems, kitchen hood (fire suppression) systems and fire prevention backflow devices. Contractor must hold an C-16 or CR-16 commercial/dual contractor license to inspect, test, report and repair fire prevention systems included in this proposal. (Provide any other necessary licensing per authority having jurisdiction) Contractor Selection Date:June 20, 2023 Question Submission Deadline:June 1, 2023, 3:00pm The first year of this contract is scheduled to cover the period from July 01, 2023 through June 30, 2024. Subsequent years for this contract would be based on the level of service, cost for future year(s), and the general impact to the District. Rights of Waiver, Rejection, and Cancellation. Notwithstanding any other provision of the Solicitation, District may waive any minor informality, reject any and all Offers or portions thereof, or cancel a Solicitation. The District estimates that it's spend is approximately $300,000.00 each year on Fire Prevention Systems Services.
