The City anticipates completing construction in November 2024. Questions pertaining to the Construction Manager at Risk selection process or contract issues should be directed to Tracy Gumeringer of the Engineering Department at Tracy.Gumeringer@mesaaz.gov NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Mesa is seeking a qualified firm or team to act as the Construction Manager at Risk for the following: GANTZEL ROAD HIGH PRESSURE GAS LINE PROJECT NO. CP0519GAS. The City of Mesa is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide Pre-Construction Services assistance and complete Construction Services as the CMAR for the Gantzel Road High Pressure Gas Line Project. All qualified firms that are interested in providing these services are invited to submit their Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) in accordance with the requirements detailed in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The following is a summary of the project. The required tasks will be reviewed with the selected CMAR and defined to meet the needs of the project as part of the contract scoping. This project includes a new 12-inch high-pressure steel gas line that will begin at the intersection of S Meridian Road and W Pima Road and connect to an existing 12-inch high-pressure steel gas line, run easterly on Pima Road to Ironwood Road, and then south on Ironwood/Gantzel Road and connect to an existing 8-inch high-pressure steel gas line at the intersection of N Gantzel Road and W Combs Road. The approximate length of the project is four miles (22,070 LF). The agencies with jurisdiction over the proposed alignment are the Town of Queen Creek and Pinal County.
