Removal and installation of a new above ground 20,000-gallon steel tank on the North side with man vault installed at bottom. Leave tank on property for City to pick up. Removal and installation of a new above ground 55,000-gallon steel tank. Leave tank on property for City to pick up. Tank replacements include site work preparation on existing pads/foundations. Leak testing and disinfection of new tanks. All plumbing/piping connections as needed. Exterior access ladder equipped with a cable safety climb, safety cage, and bottom isolation door. Platform at the exterior ladder top with hand railing. Screened top vent, exterior lights at the ladder or stairway base and on top platform, controlled by a switch in a locked box. Interior level sensor, top hatch with cover. The ladder below the hatch to accommodate entry for cleaning and inspection. Roof snow load at least 25lbs. per sq. ft. Set up temporary water tanks, including plumbing, etc. 10,000- gallon tank on North side and 55,000 gallon tank on South side for temporary water storage so as to not interrupt service to either service area and haul off when done. Contractor to determine placement of temporary tanks in conjunction with Project Manager (Randy Sullivan). Provide water filtration system based on water testing results attached. Each must be able to provide a minimum of approximately 55,000 gallons per day. Installation will include tubing to water source, and all hook-ups to and from water source and filtration units, tapping into water lines, and all materials and hook ups necessary to provide a complete functional water filtration system. All filters, materials and cost of preventative maintenance must be included in total cost of bid. All units must be EPA-UL-NSF approved. Evidence must be provided at final inspection. A filtration system will be installed in a building presently located on one of the well sites. Do test after tanks installed and present results to City. Final determination of system will be done at walk-thru. All work shall be completed within 120 calendar days of Notice to Proceed. The bid guarantee shall be in the form of a certified or cashier's check, upon a solvent bank or a surety bond for 5% of the amount of the bid. The contractor will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount. No subsitituion or other form of bond will be allowed.
