Saving Project...

Renovation of a laboratory facility in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.

**As of July 11, 2023, project was awarded to Hunt Electric Corporation, but awarded amount is not available.** The Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota (the "University") is requesting Proposals to provide construction services to replace a service disconnect in Gortner Laboratory (the "Project"). The University of Minnesota Energy Management, along with Capital Project Management, would like to replace a service disconnect in Gortner Laboratory, located on the St. Paul campus. The service disconnect switchboard section needs to be replaced or modified to accommodate a new service disconnect. The existing service conductors between the transformers and disconnect are bus duct. As part of this Project, the bus duct will be replaced with conduit and wire service conductors. Lump Sum Contract should include engineering design services by contractor to provide plans and specifications required for permitting and as-builts. Refer to the attached Summary of Work document for additional Project information. The total construction budget for this Project is $400,000 (current dollars, no escalation). The University requires the Project to be substantially complete by no later than June 28, 2024. Deadline for RFP Questions June 6, 2023 at Noon
