SCOPE It is the intent of this Invitation to Bid to solicit bids for the Turn-key Chipseal Bid for Hunt County Precinct 3. Asphalt repairs and Sealcoat at Hideaway Estates in Quinlan, Texas. Asphalt Repairs: Approximately 60 tons of pothole, edge repairs, level ups on Hideaway Lane and Hideaway Park. Clean potholes, tack and install asphalt compacted in lifts. Clean level ups, tack and install asphalt with clean feathered joints and smooth transitions. Clean edge repairs, tack and install asphalt to bring road to correct widths and level with existing pavement with straight line beveled edges. Sealcoat: Approximately 636,451 square feet. Sweep and clean existing roads, install one course chipseal paving using AC 10 shot at a rate of .33 and 302 Grade 4 TX Dot Spec Aggregate rock applied at a rate of 24lbs per SY at average of 21.5 width. Remove excess rock from street after completion and haul off. Asphalt shall be applied using a computerized controlled distributor with recent calibration. Aggregate shall be applied using a computerized controlled rock spreader with recent calibration. Place chipseal in accordance with TXDOT Item 316. Provide Signs, Barricades, One Lane Traffic Control, Flagger Men/Women and Pilot Car. The selected vendor shall abide by Federal, State and Local laws, regulations and ordinances concerning the sales, transportation and delivery of road materials to the County location. The selected vendor shall also ensure all subcontractors and delivery agents employed by the primary contractor shall abide by the same laws and regulations.
