Site work for a municipal facility in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

Cumberland County is requesting sealed bids for three woven wire fenced grazing area projects. These projects must adhere to Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) specifications. This is a total package project where a general contractor will arrange to complete the installation of all three projects, possibly with other sub-contractors. Failure to bid on all three projects will result in a rejected bid. This project is partially funded through the Cumberland County Countywide Action Plan (CAP) Implementation Block Grant program. Anticipated start date for this project is July 24, 2023, with a final completion date of October 31, 2023. The substantial completion date is September 29, 2023. The lowest responsible and responsive bidder shall be approved at the Cumberland County Board of Commissioners meeting on July 20, 2023, at 9:30 AM in the Commissioners' hearing room, second floor, at the Cumberland County Courthouse, 1 Courthouse Square, Carlisle, PA 17013. Project Description: The bid will include three NRCS, woven wire fencing projects Date: Total linear feet of 22,356 with posts and gates as noted Time: Must follow NRCS fencing specifications The successful bidder shall provide County with Performance and Payment Bonds executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth and made payable to the County in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid prior to bid award. Each bidder shall provide with its bid a Bid Bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth and made payable to the County in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. Bidders must comply with all State anti-bid rigging regulations and are required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. This project is subject to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry's Prevailing Wage Determination. Small and minority businesses and woman's enterprises are encouraged to respond to this invitation.
