Norwood School District #63, hereinafter called Owner, will receive sealed bids for HVAC Upgrade at Norwood Elementary School, including labor, tools, equipment, materials and services for construction The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. WORK generally consists of removing the outdated hot water and steam equipment used for heating and providing new gas fired heating and cooling systems mounted on rooftop and ducted to rooms below. New automated controls are included as well as a comprehensive electrical service upgrade. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work on this project, within the meaning of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq. All bidders not previously pre-qualified in the past two years must be pre-qualified with the Owner. Pre-qualification information shall be submitted in duplicate on a properly executed AIA Document A305 Contractors Qualification Statement, 2007 Edition and received for consideration at the office of Kenyon and Associates, Architects, Inc., 6824 N. Frostwood Parkway, Peoria, IL 61615, by the bid opening date. No bid shall be withdrawn for 60 days after opening of bids without consent of the Owner.
