Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Red Oak, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Red Oak is accepting Competitive Sealed Bids for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work necessary for the demolition of existing buildings and structures on the property to include foundations, concrete paving, asphalt paving, sidewalks, chain link fencing, wood panel fencing, trees grown into fencing, non-marked trees, and non-marked vegetation within the property lines as well as the removal of all debris related to the demolition, debris located within the existing buildings, and other existing debris located on the City property on N Live Oak St in Red Oak Texas. The project includes the demolition of all existing buildings and structures on the property to include foundations, concrete paving, asphalt paving, sidewalks, chain link fencing, wood panel fencing, trees grown into fencing, non-marked trees, and non-marked vegetation within the property lines as well as the removal of all debris related to the demolition, debris located within the existing buildings, and other existing debris located on the property. a. Building 1 is a one-story, CMU structure, approximate 19,292 sf. b. Building 2 is a one-story structure with gymnasium, approximate 15,373 sf. c. Building 3 is a one-story, CMU structure, approximately 11,942 sf. d. Structure 1 is a portable building, approximate 1513 sf. e. Structure 2 is a metal pole workshop with metal roof, approximate 3,186 sf. f. Demolition includes removing all concrete foundations in their entirety, any concrete piers, ifpresent, will be removed to 36 inches below finished grade. g. Contractor to verify the disconnect of all the utilities; phone, gas, electric, and water, priorto demolition of the structures. h. Contractor to protect all marked trees and marked landscaping with fencing. i. Contractor to dispose of all debris off-site in appropriate landfills. Contractorto provide landfill receipts to City to demonstrate material was disposed ofproperly. j. Contractor to provide security fencing as needed to prevent the public from entering site. k. An Asbestos inspection and report of the property was completed on May 12, 2023; attached hereto as Exhibit A. 2. Alternate Bid Item a. One-story structure, approximately 16,355 sf. The structure is a vacant wing attached to the existing Red Oak Government Center, as depicted in Exhibit C, attached hereto. b. Demolition includes removing all concrete foundations in their entirety, any concrete piers, ifpresent, will be removed to 36 inches below finished grade. c. All other specifications for initial Scope ofWork shall remain applicable to the Alternate B
