The City is soliciting proposals for civil engineering services to prepare a new storm drain study of the tributary area and to complete design of storm drain infrastructure upgrades, a new detention basin, and a new storm drain pump station with discharge to an existing irrigation canal. This section describes the minimum scope of work anticipated for the project. Proposer shall provide a detailed scope of work in Proposal per the requirements of this RFP. Storm Drain Study and Report: • Meet with City staff to obtain additional records. Document existing conditions. Provide narrative description of existing conditions, and purpose and need of the Project. Prepare hydrologic calculations based on existing topography and inlet locations. Prepare hydraulic calculations of existing inlets and piping. Identify where capacity is insufficient in the existing system. Recommend preferred and alternative system improvements scenarios. Provide preliminary cost estimates for proposed alternatives
