Renovation of a municipal facility in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
DESCRIPTION This project is being re-bid for the mechanical work for the replacement of the existing UV Disinfection System at the RCSTP only. Mechanical work will include the demolition of the existing UV System, installation of a temporary UV bypass system, removal and reinstallation of the existing UV finger weir, and installation of an air compressor, overhead jib crane, and two UV modules. The electrical work for this project has been bid as a separate contract but includes running temporary umbilical cords from the GLASCO ballast control center/system control center (BCC/SCC) to the temporary UV system, providing power and control conduit and wiring to the BCC/SCC, and providing power to the air compressor and overhead jib crane hoist. Electrical specifications are included in the bid documents as a reference for the General Contractor only. Clarification Deadline 7/14/2023 12:00 PM Reminder: It is mandatory that the Contractor attend one site meeting with Pennoni, the Township Engineer, before bidding. Any Contractor that previously attended the pre-bid meeting held on June 8, 2023, is exempt from this requirement.
