The City of Laramie does not have an established survey network, and surveyors currently use section corners. The goal of this project is to develop and implement a city-wide survey control network to meet current and future needs for developments, plats, Capital Improvement, and many other uses. The scope includes determining which existing monuments can be used around Laramie, as well as identifying locations and installing new monuments. Establishing control stations into a control network with the new 2022 datum being adopted soon, this project would aim to also ensure compatibility with the new datum upon its adoption. The City of Laramie reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive informalities and minor irregularities in the proposals received if deemed in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to award this project to the firm who best addresses the requirements outlined in the Request for Qualifications.
