Engineer’s estimate as $60,000 to $90,000 The City of Coachella (CWA) intends to replace the existing end of life 3/4 " - 3G Master Meters for approximately 600 City Furnished Meters with a scaled 4G LCD Digital Allegro Master Meters. The 600 City Furnished Meters are located throughout the city of Coachella's distribution system service area. Different zones with individual routes for each zone which consist of approximately 95% residential and 5% commercial service lines. The angle meter valves mostly consist of Instatite CTS service connections and brass compression fittings ranging from 3/4 inch to 1 inch. Each Bid shall be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or Bid Bond secured from a surety company satisfactory to the City, the amount of which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price, made payable to City of Coachella as bid security. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price.
