This Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) is an invitation by the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario 'CHEO' (Owner) to General Contractors (Proponents) to submit proposals to be prequalified for a vendor of record for General Contracting services. It is CHEO's intention is to establish a shortlist of Proponents, who will then be invited to submit tenders based on the contract documents for specific projects for the next three (3) years. A shortlisted selection of five (5) to seven (7) General Contractors will be made based on submissions that achieve a minimum score of 75% with regards to the evaluation criteria. CHEO reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of shortlisted Proponents based on the overall scoring of the Proposals. The shortlisted Proponents will be invited to bid on the projects, for a three (3) year timeframe pending budget approval.
