The City of Oxnard is located approximately 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles and 35 miles south of Santa Barbara, off US Highway 101. Oxnard is a vibrant and growing community of over 200,000 people, being the most populous city in Ventura County, having a land area of nearly 27 square miles and over 20 miles of coastline. Oxnard prides itself on its rich diversity, history, and culture. There are significant commercial, agricultural, and diverse residential land uses. Oxnard is a full-service City and operates under the Council-Manager form of government. The City of Oxnard is requesting proposals from experienced, qualified consultants to perform all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant work to provide On-Call Channel Islands Harbor Water Quality Monitoring and Testing Services for the City of Oxnard Special Districts Division. This Request for Proposal (RFP) provides information to enable firms to submit a proposal to provide professional services for the scope of work as detailed in Tab D - Scope of Services. Question Deadline 06/14/2023 Proposer inquiries must be submitted online. The period of performance anticipated for this solicitation shall be for a period of up to three (3) years beginning, December 1, 2023 or effective upon signature of an Agreement by both parties, through November 30, 2026, unless terminated earlier. After the first year, and each year thereafter, the City shall have the option to extend the term pursuant to the Agreement, upon mutually acceptable services, cost adjustments, and the City requirements. There is no obligation by the City to purchase any specified amount of goods or services. All Proposer shall submit evidence of all required insurance. If awarded the contract the Proposer has ten (10) calendar days to produce the required insurances, including a certified endorsement naming the City as additionally insured. The Proposer shall certify to the possession of any and all current required licenses or certifications. Proposer must provide a copy of current business license or other applicable licenses.
