The Maryland Military Department (MMD or Department) is soliciting bids to procure the following: Parkville Readiness Center- 3727 Putty Hill Avenue, Parkville, Maryland 21236 Remove and dispose of one (1) existing overhead door, furnish with new factory finish sectional overhead door equipped with walk-through door and install. Edgewood FMS - 8462 Otto Road, Gunpowder, Maryland 21010 Remove and dispose of two (2) existing exterior doors and door frames, furnish with two (2) new metal painted doors and two (2) new door frames, new hardware and install. Small Business Reserve: Yes Federally Funded Yes Cut-off Date for Q &A: June 14, 2023 @ 10:00 AM Local Time Term of Service: Sixty (60) Calendar Days after Notice to Proceed The MMD is issuing this Small Procurement Solicitation to provide all labor, materials, and supplies necessary to remove and dispose of one (1) existing overhead door, furnish with new factory finish sectional overhead door equiped with a walk-through door and install. Remove and dispose of two (2) existing exterior doors and door frames, furnish with two (2) new metal painted doors and two (2) new door frames and install. The MMD intends to make one (1) or more awards as a result of this IFB. The MMD strongly recommends each Contractor attend the informational conference and the site visit if offered. If your company needs any special accommodations at the site visit and informational conference, please inform the Procurement Officer by email with your RSVP. Each Contractor shall be permitted to examine the site, familiarize themselves with the full nature and extent of the work, ask questions, obtain answers to the SOW, and obtain clarifications of the Contract. It is the Contractors sole responsibility to familiarize themselves thoroughly with the location of the work and the surrounding area as well as the contents of the SOW. Failure to do so does not relieve the successful Bidder from its obligations to comply with all aspects of this solicitation package for the amount they specify as their Bid Price All questions concerning this Small Procurement Solicitation shall be directed to the Procurement Officer listed on the key information summary sheet. It is the MMDs intention to obtain services, as specified in this Small Procurement Solicitation, from a Contract between the selected Bidder and the MMD.
