Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in West Suffield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
You are invited to submit a proposal for providing the design, the equipment, and the installation of playgrounds at A. Ward Spaulding School and McAlister Intermediate School in Suffield, CT. The town of Suffield has approved $200,000 for the renovation of the existing playground at A. Ward Spaulding School and $240,000 for renovation of the existing playground at McAlister Intermediate School. A. Ward Spaulding is a grades K-2 school with approximately 450 students. McAlister Intermediate School is a grades 3-5 school with approximately 430 students. Although the response will be for each school, we seek a single contractor to complete both projects. The deadline for questions and clarifications is 3:00 PM on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Responses will be provided by 5:00 PM on Monday, June 12, 2023. No proposal will be accepted after the time set for the openings of proposals and no proposer may withdraw his proposal within 120 days of opening thereof. The Suffield Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all proposals when such action is deemed in the best interest of the Town.
