Site work and paving for a road / highway in Midland, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town is calling for the complete Bid submissions from qualified Contractors to supply and deliver Yonge Street Reconstruction as detailed herein. A general description of the works is as follows: - 735 m of sanitary sewer replacement, associated services and structure; - 20 m of storm sewer installation, catch basin lead replacement and associated structures; - Traffic signal improvements/replacements at 4th and 8th Street; - 1,000 m of watermain replacement, associated services, hydrants, gate valves, a pressure reducing/sustaining valve and appurtenances: and - 900 m of road reconstruction to an urban cross section, complete with barrier curb and gutter, restoration of all associated disturbed areas, including driveways, topsoil, sod and surface elements within the boulevard. Provisional resurfacing works generally include: - 19,000 m2 of asphalt replacement along Yonge Street from County Road 93 to Norene Street and from Second Street to King Street including full restoration to match existing conditions.
