As of September 5, 2023, project was awarded to Underwater Screening Services, awarded amount is $39,291.87. The City of Binghamton is soliciting proposals for the repair of Raw Water Traveling Screens at the Water Filtration Plant, located at 25 Broome Street, Binghamton, NY 13901. There is (1) traveling screen at the Susquehanna River for water intake to the Filtration Plant. The repair should align the screen to its proper and true setting to ensure trouble free run times. It is anticipated that repair will include: Align screen chains and tension adjustments. Replace/repair spray bar and nozzles. Overhaul of worn parts to ensure operation health. Various plumbing fixes and valve replacements as needed. Each vendor shall submit the following information as part of a narrative with regard to their ability to undertake and complete the project: 1. Company overview, summary and history should include, but not limited to, contact information, office location(s), and company longevity. 2. Each vendor shall include at least two previous projects involving traveling screen repair. 3. Each vendor shall include a tentative schedule of work. 4. Each vendor shall provide any additional information, which may be beneficial in determining the ability of the vendor to complete this project. 5. Pricing should be based on time & material.
