This project provides upgrades to and renovation of amenities in parks such as tennis and basketball courts, landscaping, park signage, and other miscellaneous park improvements. Planned Park Improvement projects include: Downtown Community Garden Relocation to Stone Park, Evergreen, Stone, Cohen, Evelyn K. Davis, and East 9th Street Basin Park (Hamilton Drain) improvements, Western Gateway Runnels renovation, park signage, as well as the Riverview Park trailhead, cul-desac, restroom and electrical improvements. An annual program for basketball and tennis court replacement and refurbishment, landscaping and general improvements and repairs to the park and recreation system are provided. This project is included in the city’s fy 2025-2028 Capital Improvement Program. As of April 22, 2025, further details regarding firm construction and completion have not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
