Budget for the equipment is $60,000. The Work to be completed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary for construction of the proposed improvements in conformance with the plans and specifications. The Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/01, et seq.) shall apply to the Project Work. This project is being financed, in part, with funds from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, "Open Space Lands Acquisition & Development" (OSLAD) grant program. Minority businesses are encouraged to submit bids for this Project and the successful Contractor is encouraged to utilize qualified minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. There is no required minimum percentage of utilization for minority business participation to meet grant requirements. completion of the Project Work, and the payment of all labor and materials furnished for the Project Work, and in compliance with the above referenced Prevailing Wage Act. The cost of said Bondsshall be included in the total bid amount set forth in the Bid Proposal. The Project Work, including but not limited to all restoration work, must be performed in strict compliance with the Contract Documents and must be completed within one hundred (100) days of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed, weather permitting. The Park District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, accept all or part of a bid, and to waive minor irregularities and nonconformities in any bid when it is in the best interest of the Park District.
