The scope of services and work will include an in-depth site assessment, complete design, engineering, utility coordination, permitting and construction necessary for the successful development of the Project. The estimated project budget is $12M. o George Perry Boulevard Extension starting from Walter Jones Boulevard and going northeast towards Constitution Avenue. The project scope of work involves the construction of approximately 1.1 miles of roadway including new paved surface, curb and gutters, parkway improvements, reinforced concrete driveways, ADA wheelchair ramps and sidewalks. Additionally, the project will incorporate intersection/safety improvements inclusive of traffic signals, roundabouts, signing, pavement markings, and street lighting along the new corridors. The project will also include utility infrastructure/improvements related to drainage, domestic water and sanitary sewer. Existing ponding areas located south of Spur 601 will be re-graded to accommodate future development. New drainage inlets are anticipated throughout the new roadway surface to ensure it meets the required drainage criteria and ensure the runoff generated within the project limits is captured. Potable water line and sanitary sewer line improvements, consisting of manholes, valves, fire hydrants, fittings and all associated appurtenances for the systems, will be incorporated for the future commercial and industrial development within the project envelope. The project will add irrigation and landscape improvements consisting of trees, shrubs, and groundcovers native from the region. Lastly, it is anticipated that an art piece be provided on the proposed roundabout intersection of the Geroge Perry Boulevard and Constitution Avenue extensions. The characteristics of this project will require a high degree of cooperation and coordination between the El Paso International Airport (EPIA) and the Design-Build Team. The Project is comprised of the design and construction of the George Perry Boulevard Extension, Constitution Avenue Extension. The Design-Build Team shall perform all services and work necessary to complete and deliver a Turn-Key Project in accordance with the terms of the Design Criteria Package and Design-Build Agreement, and shall complete the design services to include deliverables of construction documents and specifications as well as Construction Administration services by the Design-Build Team's Design Professional of Record. There will be only one (1) Design-Build Agreement . Generally, the Design-Build Team's scope of services and work will include the planning, development, design, engineering, and construction of the roadways, utility relocations, pedestrian improvements and related improvements for the Project, including but not limited to all architect, engineering, construction, and other services necessary for the successful development, execution and completion of the Project.
