The City of Palm Bay is requesting Bids from qualified suppliers/consultants for CANAL CLEARING. No commitments for future purchases for this or any other project are implied and responding Bidders should not infer any such intentions by the City. The Successful Bidder will appoint one of their employees as the key contact for approval by the City's Project Manager. The intent of this solicitation is to remove the vegetation on the flats and slopes of the canals, so that the city staff can start maintaining a stabilized bank. All tree stumps are to be sprayed with herbicide to prevent growth. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and material to provide the services as specified herein including, but not limited to, all aspects of Canal clearing and maintenance. The Contractor's deliverable result is removal of all vegetation, debris, and obstructions from the canals location within the City of Palm Bay to allow for unobstructed flow of water at each location and to create a maintainable bank for City staff. The Contractor shall not be required to do any engineering or design work but must be capable of performing basic surveying to check and verify topographic information (i.e., line, grade, slope, interpret plans and drawings for canals). Contractors will bid Canal maintenance as a lump sum, per Canal location. Question End Date 5/23/2023 5:00 PM Anticipated Award Date 7/6/2023
