The City of Menlo Park is seeking an on-call contractor for tennis court resurfacing services. project locations and specific work orders may vary based on need or urgency of repairs, as directed by the Engineer. In general, the work shall consist of removal, salvage, and re-installation of benches, fencing, windscreens, and appurtenances; removal and disposal of netting, net posts, and existing asphalt or to the top of underlying gravel base; compaction of base layer and installation of new base and asphalt that meets existing grade and provides positive drainage without ponding; furnishing and installing new posts and nets; and installation of acrylic resurfacer, surface color coating, and line striping. The maximum total amount payable under the contract is $120,000 per year, but City offers no assurances of the actual dollar value of the work.
