Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
National Railroad Passenger Corporation ("Amtrak") is issuing this Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") to solicit Statements of Qualifications ("SOQ") from interested parties (each, a "Proposer") to perform design-build services for the Seattle Maintenance Facility. Please see attached documents. If interested in submitting a SOQ, please send an email to Christopher.Angelone@amtrak.com with your company name, company address, a single point of contact's name, the POC's email address and phone number. The work at Seattle Maintenance Facility is to construct a new two-bay Maintenance and Inspection (M&I) Facility, one track for Service and Cleaning (S&C) operations, construction of three storage tracks, modifications to existing yard track systems, relocation of existing facilities and parking and utility upgrades (collectively, the "Project"). All work will be performed at Amtrak's Seattle Yard, in Seattle, Washington State.
