As of August 11, 2023, the project has not been awarded. It is currently being processed. The Project consists of Furnish and install a functionally complete automatic water meter reading system. Furnish and install water meters of various sizes and meter radio transmitters inside structures, outside structures, and in meter pits. Furnish, install and terminate cable and/or wiring between water meter registers and meter radio transmitters. Furnish and install meter radio transmitters. Perform field programming, start-up and acceptance testing of water meters and meter radio transmitters. Furnish and install programming devices, communication devices, meter reading equipment and software. Integrate automatic meter reading system with Owner's existing water billing software. Furnish and install pipe, fittings, valves, couplings, adapters, appurtenances, fasteners, supports, and other miscellaneous materials required for an acceptable meter and meter radio transmitter installation. Remove and dispose of existing water meters and waste materials. Perform miscellaneous and incidental work. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of the Bid total, payable to the Owner in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders are subject to all applicable provisions of the Federal Davis Bacon Act Wage Determinations as set forth in the Project Manual.
