Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a medical facility in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 102,000-square-foot, six-story above grade medical facility.
The Project is a Medical Office Building ~102,000 sf total. 5 levels plus penthouse. The primary spaces within the facility include community engagements spaces, clinical spaces for neurology, the Biggs Institute and neuropsychology, an imaging CT & 7T MRI suite, lab, pharmacy, physical therapy suite and office and administration spaces. The budget for this project is $75,000,000 Package 2 - (this bid package) will consist of but is not limited to: scaffolding, cranes and hoists, demolition, structural concrete, masonry, steel, decorative metal rails, casework, woodwork, insulation, waterproofing, fireproofing, firestopping, formed & composite metal wall panels, roofing, doors frames Hardware, curtain wall, glazing, auto entrances, smoke containment, louvers, plaster, drywall, ceilings, flooring, wall protection, canopies, Div 10 specialties, Lab casework and equipment, radiation protection, MRI shielding, elevators, fire sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, lighting protection, structured cabling, access controls, video surveillance, emergency radio repeaters, fire alarm, landscape, irrigation, site paving, retaining walls, unit pavers, The finish out of Level 5 is alternates that would be accepted at the time of NTP and would not require remobilization. As of August 14, 2023, a general contractor has been selected. Additional subcontract trade packages were bid out in June. Construction started January 2023.
